Summer’s in Phoenix are viscous.

Summers in Phoenix are brutal, and while many take this time to escape the heat and travel somewhere more bearable, I choose to stay in and create. June marks the beginning of my spooky illustration season, but this year, I’m also expanding my themes to reflect a deeper part of myself. Summer has become a kind of hibernation—a time to look inward and reconnect with what inspires me. Here, I’ll be sharing the projects that emerge from this intentional solitude.
