In high school, I came across a biography of Frida Kahlo that deeply resonated with me. Her life story became a turning point, igniting my determination to take my art seriously. Growing up in an environment with an oppressive mother and an abusive father made it challenging for me to express myself and discover my identity. Finding solace in Frida's experiences was a common thread I shared with many, relating to her struggles and pain. I admired her unfiltered honesty reflected in her artwork, which inspired me to navigate my own path of self-expression and artistic exploration.
